These terms cover your use of Six Shores, the game at play.sixshores.com and this website (together, “the game”). The game is run by the Six Shores team (“we”, “us”). By playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

Using the game

You may play Six Shores free of charge for your own personal enjoyment. There are no accounts: you choose a nickname when you play online. You may not:

  • use a nickname that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or shares other people’s personal details;
  • harass other players, or use the game to share anything unlawful;
  • cheat by tampering with the game or the server, deliberately overload it, or try to access parts of it that are not meant for you;
  • copy, resell or republish the game, its artwork or its code without our permission.

If someone breaks these rules, we may remove them from a game or block their access.

Online games

Online rooms are kept in our server’s memory only while a game is on. A room ends when the game finishes or when the server restarts, for example during an update, and a game in progress can be lost. If a player leaves or loses their connection, a bot may take over their seat. We aim to keep the server running but cannot guarantee that it will always be available.

The game is provided “as is”

Six Shores is a hobby project that we continue to improve. Rules, features and looks can change, and we may pause or stop the game at any time. To the extent the law allows, the game is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, such as a lost game or lost progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be excluded.

Ownership

The game, its name, artwork and code belong to the Six Shores team or its licensors. Some 3D models, icons and fonts are used under their creators’ licences, credited in the game’s settings.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle the small amount of data the game uses.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
